Mine are the soundtracks to Moulin Rouge, Titanic, Remember the Titans, and De-lovely.

Post 4 by Jess227 on Monday, 20-Dec-2004 8:57:50

Mine: Glory, Mission Impossible, Titanic, Forest Gump, Armagedon, Top Gun. I'm more of a classical music/oldies type of person. Sometimes I'll get into the 90s and the current stuff but if the movie has alot of my favorite artists or songs then chances are, I'll buy it. But those are my favorites thus far.

Hmm, I like the Dare Devil sound track, Romio must Die sound track, I can't think of the name of it, but it's that movie where the angel, falls in love with the mortal woman. He falls from grace, well from the top of a very large building naked I might add anyway, he does this to be with the woman. How do I say more without runinning the ending? Oh man, I can't think of the name, or even who's in it. anyway moving right along, I like the Highlander sound track, the muskateer sound track, cradle to the grave sound track, bootycall sound track, bluestreak sound track, man this list is long, Armageddon sound track, and I also like Trainning day soundtrack. That's all I can think of for now.

Harry Potter all the way. Hehehe! And others, like Holes and such.

Post 9 by Godzilla-On-Toast (I've now got the silver prolific poster award! wahoo!) on Monday, 17-Jan-2005 16:51:56

Most of the Soundtrack CDs I have are original scores and not the collections of songs that were used in a movie. I've got osme Star Trek stuff, Doctor Who, the original Batman TV series, Forbidden Planet, a collection of music from the older Godzilla movies, and that kind of thing just to give you a sampling. I also like the music from a lot of the Alfred Hitchcock movies and although I don't care for Westerns at all, some of the scores from what they call spaghetti Westerns are cool.

Hi there,
well there are lots of good sound tracks out there, but a couple of the best has to be lost boys, the old 80's vampire classic, and more recently blue lagoon. The latter has Beth Orton on it from her day tripper album, and i'm a little bit biass towards Beth orton as she's a superb song writer and musician. I'll drop some more if and when I think of them!!

Catch ya soon!

Post 24 by GreenTurtle (Music is life. Love. Vitality.) on Friday, 18-Feb-2005 17:17:08

My favorite soundtracks are: Cradle To The Grave, Queen Of The Damned, Wedding Singer, and Shrek (the first one--the second one totally sucks and there's not one good song on it.)

Post 25 by Caitlin (I've now got the silver prolific poster award! wahoo!) on Saturday, 19-Feb-2005 2:33:50

Ya the second Shrek sound track was blah. A Walk to Remember si great too, I don't have it but i know some of the thing on it and they rock. Cry by Mandy Mroe is the bestist!

And that's just a few.

Post 27 by Cousin Cap (Zone BBS Addict) on Wednesday, 28-Sep-2005 17:38:34

The Merchant Venice. I've never had the pleasure of hearing such beautiful countertenor, treble, and soprano voices on one CD! Farinelli wasn't even this well-done.

Post 28 by Cousin Cap (Zone BBS Addict) on Thursday, 29-Sep-2005 4:52:23

Have any of you ever seen the comma key on your keyboards? It does exist, I promise. You might invest in a bit more use of it.

Post 29 by krisme (Ancient Zoner) on Thursday, 29-Sep-2005 10:20:24

Ok, next time, we'll remember to use that fine punctuation mark called the cama. In fact, I've used it several times during this post.

Post 30 by Don'tBlaisMeBro (Folle et simple est la brebis qui au loup se confesse.) on Thursday, 29-Sep-2005 17:05:58

I don't really buy movie soundtracks really so it's got to be a great one for me to buy it. I think the soundtrack to Harry Potter and the goblet of fire was great! I don't really love clasical music usually but, this cd was great!

Post 34 by Grace (I've now got the ggold prolific poster award! wahoo! well done to me!) on Monday, 09-Jan-2006 13:23:01

With clips released to Pirates of The Caribbean #2 Movie to be out in theaters in July this year I beleive it is...reminds me how much I am given to enjoy the music of the first movie...though I don't have the soundtrack for it...am in search of.

Post 35 by Telemachus (Death: the destroyer of worlds.) on Monday, 09-Jan-2006 19:01:37

I like mostly original movie scores. Mostly stuff by Hans Zimmer (SP?) Gladiator, Black Hawk Down, The Rock, Chrimson Tide, etc. Oh yes, and Star Trek, Battlestar Galactica (new, not old), and the like. By the by, why were spaghetti westerns called that anyway?

Post 36 by Resonant (Find me alive.) on Monday, 09-Jan-2006 23:16:32

Ooh! Garden state! That was a nice one, wasn't it? And I've got a huge softspot for the Empire Records soundtrack. Let's see, what else? Clockwork Orange disturbs me, but the soundtrack was really well put together, though none of it was original. Laurence of Arabia, I know I know, cheesy, but some lush, stirring stuff in there. Paradise Roads, Master and Commander, Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon, and the series Firefly! Love it!

Post 37 by Perestroika (Her Swissness) on Monday, 09-Jan-2006 23:17:33

hmmmm, favourites... well, o,, brother where art thou, song catcher and dead man walking are my favourite movies, and they all had great sound tracks. Dead man walking in particular. It had some of the best guitar i've ever heard and also some really moving songs about capital punnishment from all the different view points involved. the cool thing about that movie was that Tim Robbins went out of his way to represent all sides of the story.

Post 38 by Resonant (Find me alive.) on Wednesday, 11-Jan-2006 0:11:12

Dragonfire, I think the movie you're after is "City of Angels". came out late 90s some time. The soundtrack featured Googoodolls Iris, and Sarah Mclachlan's Angel, among other gems. The plot was from an oldy called "wings of desire", I think.

for me i'd have to say indiana jones or star wars

Post 40 by guitargod1 (I'm going for the prolific poster awards!) on Saturday, 18-Feb-2006 18:14:51

Some of my favourite movie soundtracks are for the Harry Potter films, the lord of the rings films, the day after tomorrow, jurassic park, the pianist, braveheart, meet joe black, and the list goes on...
